Clover Hill - North East TasmaniaLocated in the Piper’s River region of NE Tasmania, Clover Hill was established in 1986 as a dedicated sparkling wine estate planted solely to traditional sparkling wine varietals – Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The 66 hectare property overlooking Bass Strait has a similar climate to the Champagne region of France. Vines are close spaced and planted on deep, red volcanic soil in a frost-free amphitheatre, orientated N-S to maximise sunlight exposure.
Clover Hill's commitment to creating one of Australia’s finest sparkling wines is recognized with its awarding as ‘2005 Tasmanian Vineyard of the Year’ and its 1998 and 1999 vintages awarded Winestate Magazine’s Australasian Sparkling Wine of the Year’.
