With winemaking and wine-management experience courtesy of Jacques Lurton Consultancy in the Ukraine, Vina Ventisquero in Chile and Cave de Sauveterre in France, as well as Coriole Vineyards and Petaluma Wines here in Australia, young gun Peter Warr is currently working alongside Chief Winemaker Robert Heywood to further refine Taltarni’s winemaking style. His expertise, dedication and hard work are being well rewarded with the accolades rolling in.

An Applied Science (Viticulture & Oenology) graduate from the University of Adelaide, Pete is thoroughly enjoying the diverse and challenging nature of his role with Taltarni Vineyards and sister winery Clover Hill. Being able to work with premium Tasmanian and Pyrenees fruit, across a wide range of sparkling and still wines, as well as having the freedom to effectively implement new and improved winemaking techniques are major coups for Pete (and for the Taltarni- and Clover Hill-swilling population at large!).
